The lesson I have learned: Only buy authentic Samsung toner cartridges. Refilled cartridges don't work with newer versions of firmware on the printer. This cartridge was expected to work well and it does. Clear printing, no smudges.Note: This does not excuse Samsung from blocking other companies' cartridges by making their firmcode to work with only with their cartridges. I will probably not buy another Samsung laser printer for this reason.Worked perfectly. I was having problems with some aftermarket toners not being recognized but this worked right away.Stick to Samsung the off brands sold by Amazon my ruin your printer; they almost ruined mine.Pricey but the quality is great.
